Project overview:
The project Pinewells is presenting is part of the purposes and priority of Notice 26/SI/2017, under the heading “Enhancing the capacity of an existing establishment”, promoting the use of innovation, resulting in the production of new and significantly improved products, with higher increased value, to be traded internationally. Likewise, and in response to this notice, it is expected to that 5 new jobs will be created, which is essential to the proper functioning of its activity, as it is estimated to grow, with a higher productive capacity to meet the high demand.
Thus, the company will use advanced and sustainable technologies which will enable it to maintain the raw material technical characteristics, aiming at a higher quality product, as well as rendering the production flexible for larger quantities, taking into account a reduction of the manufacturing costs in order to achieve larger margins.

Project summary:
The SI Innovation 7034 Project launched in accordance with the Community Framework P2020 can be summed up as a substantial improvement introduced in the production process, allowing for converting less noble raw material into wood pellets without reducing the quality of the final product, reducing equipment wear and tear and improving the efficiency of overall production.
